Synesthesia (Chapter 3)
[2P!Canada X Reader]
Warning! This has a slight crossover with ‘Canaan’ (the anime).
Sound to smell, color to sound, emotions and intents to colors.

Another survivor…” you mutter under your breath, looking at the girl, “How is that possible? Does that mean she-,”
Basch lifts his hand, a gesture to refrain you from speaking too much, “Wait… I know a better place we can discuss these matters.”
Lili nods and takes both yours and Basch’s hand while swerving through the busy street. The animal-heads are pushed to the back of your mind, but not yet completely forgotten.
After a lot of movement, Lili stops at side of a large building, where an almost-hidden flight of stairs leads downwards. Basch goes in first, you following and Lili right behind, making the red, beaded curtains at the entrance swish.

Inside, you could sense the atmosphere. There are excited men, giving off an aura so disturbing; you wrinkle your nose in disgust. Otherwise, you get a very light and cheerful aura, along with a mysterious crimson with tints of killing-intent of the color blue.
When you make it down the surprisingly short set of steps, Basch opens a door to reveal a sushi bar, maid café, karaoke and god-knows what other Japanese cultural aspects. In this bar, the bar tender wears a white kimono with blue and his hair is medium-length in a ponytail. You identify him as the cheery one. At the bar, a man in red sips tea quietly, he has short cropped dark hair. This one is the crimson colored aura. The bar is directly to your right as you enter the room and it takes up the whole wall. The left side is split in two; one half, the one closest to you, is filled with wooden tables with cushiony wooden chairs while the other half is taken by a closed booth. In that booth, the disturbing aura radiates like no tomorrow.
Basch takes a seat by the bar, keeping his distance from the crimson man. Lili plops down next to Basch and rests her head on his shoulder, seemingly asleep.
“The usual, I assume?” The cheery boy says, waving his long-sleeves around carelessly.
“Not today, Im Young.” Basch gives him a grim smile, before gesturing towards you, as if asking you to sit.
Hesitantly, you take a spot between Basch and the crimson man, but not before turning to the latter and asking bluntly,
“You know Oliver Arthur Kirkland or Vincent Francis Bonnefoy?” Since their names are pretty common, you thought using their full names would be wise. You only know those, by the way, through research on the top five. Allan Alfred Jones, Sergei Ivan Braginski, and Xiang Yao Wang are the three other ones.
“Aiyah… those two, yes I know them.” The man answers, without any hesitation.
You take your hand out, “[Second Alias/Name], former apprentice of Ollie. Pleased to meet you… Xiang.” You smirk, hoping your guess is right on.
“I had a feeling…” He ignores your hand and calls out to the bartender, “Im Young Soo, more please.”
“B-but…” The poor cheery guy stutters, shaking slightly, “You haven’t even paid for the past few times…”
Xiang shots him a death glare, causing the poor man to let out a prominent ‘eep’ of fright.
“Remember what happens if you challenge me, Im Young?” Xiang quietly spoke.
“Y-y-yes sir! I’m terribly sorry! I’ll get you more r-right away!” The, you assume, South Korean boy ran off to get more tea.
“Ah… tea and good food…” Xiang sighs, “I love them. But I hate the kitchen and cooking itself.”
“Ever tried Ollie’s cupcakes?” You ask with a half-smile at Xiang.
He shudders in response, “That is not good food.”
“Ahem.” Basch clears his throat.
“Ah, right…” You turn to him, “So… Lili’s also a survivor? Why doesn’t she have the animal head?”
Basch glares at you, “You’re a survivor, but you don’t have one.”
“Right… wait-,” You panic for a bit, “That means she-,”
“No… you’re special. Your ability is weird. Hers…” He grits his teeth together.
You think for a moment, looking at Lili’s sleeping form.
“Her voice…” You start.
“It causes brain damage to those who hear it.” Xiang continues, “Or so, I’ve heard.”
Basch nods, “Anyways, I brought you here, because… I want to avenge Lili.”
“Im Young!” Xiang calls, and the Korean returns with a kettle of tea, which is poured into the former’s cup.
You hear a loud laughter, and internally curse yourself for not paying attention. You gesture to the private booth, “What about them?”
Basch shrugs, “What about them? They’re CIA agents… and even if they weren’t they’re too drunk to be caring about this.”
“CIA agents? What!?” You question.
Without warning, a long haired woman appears from behind the bar, her heels making clicking noises on the hard floor.
“Welcome, [Second Alias/Name]… this is the intelligence headquarters of the anti-Red Leaves organization against terrorism or ARLOAT. Once the others get here…” Elizabeta seductively smiles, “We will commence the planning for our first infiltration mission.
©to all owners of Hetalia and yourself, along with Canaan for inspiration.
Also, if you haven't noticed, all characters in the series are 2p!'d <-- is what I said last time. But screw this, South Korea is staying his awesome 1P self. Though he's a little more cowardly.
Oh yeah, next chapter, Reader gets some moment with Al (they were supposed to be in this chapter but meh :P )
Enjoy!
